Abstract

Information communication technology (ICT) is currently affecting every aspect of human life. They are playing a major role in workplaces, business, education, and entertainment. At all levels of education, ICT is used to enrich the education system. When individuals are using ICT, they are able to carry out their work duties in a manageable manner. Moreover, its use has contributed significantly to bringing about progress in the implementation of tasks and functions. Moreover, many people identify ICT as a catalyst for change; changes in working conditions, handling and exchanging information, teaching methods, learning approaches, accessing scientific research, and information communication technologies. In this digital age, the use of ICT in the classroom is important to provide students with opportunities to learn and apply essential 21st century skills. ICT improves teaching and learning and is of importance to teachers in performing their role of the creator of the educational environment. ICT helps the teacher to present his teaching in an attractive manner and enable learning for learners in educational programs of any level. Today teaching training programs in India are becoming useful and attractive by the word ICT. Information and communication technologies (ICT) exemplified by the Internet and interactive multimedia are clearly a vital focus for future education and they need to be effectively integrated into formal teaching and learning especially in a teacher education institution. Ultimately it can be said that the use of ICT is integral in facilitating education and learning among students.
