Abstract

Tentative smile is the manifestation of nervousness or unconfident smile. An interviewee appears to the interview board with tentative smile just to smartly suppress the anxiety. Similarly, a newly-married bride, in a patriarchal society, trots in the in laws house with tentative smile to overcome uncertainty, injustice and fear.
