THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ATTITUDE, EXPERIENCE AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT TOWARDS JOB COMMITMENT OF GEN Z: A STUDY ON MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY IN PENANG

Abstract
Generation Z (born after 1995) has begun to enter the labor market, and in a few decades to come, this generation will be ruling the country. It is also of the highest significance for the company today to understand this newest entrant to the workplace. The goal of this research is to study the relationship between the attitude, experience and academic achievement of the Gen Z jobs dedication of the manufacturing industry in Penang. Understanding the association between the attitude, experience, and academic achievement of Gen Z's dedication to work can be seen as helpful in strengthening the connection between staff and management as well as the previous generation in the organization. The results of the study indicate that attitude, experience, and academic achievement have been major factors impacting the dedication of Gen Z to work at the manufacturing company in Penang. The researchers are focused on interpreting quantitative results. Therefore, to review and prepare the data collection from the questionnaires obtained, the researchers used SPSS tools. The research sample population for Generation Z is 18 to 24 years of age and is currently based in the state of Penang, Malaysia. A total of 169 questionnaires were circulated in a variety of industries to the young generation in Penang, and 86 were gathered back. The researcher hopes that the findings of this study will provide managers some advice on designing potential preparation, coaching and incentive systems for these young workers in a more successful manner. In addition, the researcher aims to support not just HR administrators, but all executives handle and attract their bright young workers, and to enable the organization to build up its success in the marketplace. As more and more Generation Z joins the new fast-changing economy, more study to help deepen their awareness of their actions can help managers to generate positive employment promises from these young subordinates.
