THE IMPACT OF NATURE IN ROMANTIC POETRY WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO INDIAN LITERATURE

Abstract

This research paper explore the significant impact of nature on romantic poetry, focusing on the Works of Indian poets such as Rabindranath Tagore, Sarojini Naidu, Kamala Das, Nissim Ezekiel, R. parthasarthy and A.K. Ramanujan. These poets, while diverse in their styles and themes, consistently use nature as a central element in their romantic expressions, highlighting its role in shaping human emotions, spirituality and identity. By examining specific works and poems, this paper illustrates how nature is not merely a passive backdrop but an active participant that reflects and Intensifies that emotional and philosophical depth of romantic poetry.
