BETSY.M, T.R.JEGADHEESHWARI
Abstract
This study aims to explore the differences in consumer buying behaviour between online and offline shopping modes in the apparels and cosmetics sector in Madurai. The study seeks to understand the factors that influence consumer preferences and behaviours in these two shopping modes. The problem addressed in this study is the lack of understanding of the differences in consumer buying behaviour between online and offline shopping modes in the apparels and cosmetics sector in India. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. The methodology will involve surveys, interviews, and observations to gather data from consumers who shop online and offline for apparels and cosmetics. The expected outcome of this study is to provide insights into the differences in consumer buying behaviour between online and offline shopping modes in the apparels and cosmetics sector in India. The study aims to contribute to the existing literature on consumer behaviour and provide recommendations for retailers and marketers to develop effective strategies to target consumers in both online and offline shopping modes.
