Abstract

Nestled in Northeast China, the Mao'ershan Experimental Forest stands as a unique testament to high biodiversity and important ecological value. Analyzing the changes in the composition of families and genera from 1984 to 2014 holds not only great ecological significance but also potential economic and social benefits. This paper aims to combine historical data with botanical surveys, organize the seed plant lists of 1984 and 2014, and conduct comparative analyses. Our goal is to explore the evolutionary patterns of its seed plant components, providing essential data for the conservation of biodiversity in this distinct ecosystem. The main results are as follows:

The main results are as follows:

1. In 1984, there were a total of 89 families and 359 genera of seed plants in the Mao'ershan Experimental Forest, and in 2014, there were a total of 89 families and 325 genera of seed plants.

2.. During the 30 years, the number and composition of seed plant families in Mao'ershan Experimental Forest did not change. During 2.30 years, the number of seed plant genera and the composition of zonation components in the Hat Mountain Experimental Forest Field changed significantly, with a total decrease of 34 genera, and the genera of the North Temperate Zone and Pan-Tropical Zone distributions also showed a significant downward trend. The number of genera of other distribution types also decreased to different degrees.
